The works have been conceived in order to better the way the quay works, to correct the structural disorders, by at the same time taking into account landscaping matters but also biological constraints of the site, with a worry of environmental quality ( pre-production, water saving, technical choices against pollution).
The architect Jean-Charles DUTELLE, associated to the SOERNI engineering office of port and sea, has been put in charge of the mastery of the works that has been engaged by the Park by the end of 2004. The project was elaborated with the agreement of the villagers and ship-owners ( TLV, ‘Iles d'or' Companies, TMML). The works were given to the CAMPENON-BERNARD firm and started in November 2006, and should be finished off by the middle of March.
This project, for a global amount of about 600 000 euros ( all taxes included), is entirely financed by the national Park of Port-Cros.
